Camellia hybrid Dream Girl


 
From a cross between C.sasanqua 'Narumigata and C.reticulata 'Damanao', raised by Howard Asper in California in 1966. One of a trio of sister seedlings, the other two being 'Flower Girl' and 'Show Girl'.
Large, flat, light pink semi-double flowers with fluted, wavy petals. Flowers very early (usually before Christmas) as a result of its sasanqua parentage. Strongly textured, narrow leaves. A very vigorous plant with an open spreading habit which makes it an ideal candidate for wall training.
