If you'd like to pay us a visit, we'd love to see you. You can browse our range of camellias and blueberries or seek expert advice from one of us. We are open Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm, throughout the year (except for 2 weeks at Christmas/New Year). We are also open on Saturdays in the Spring (February to April) and Autumn (October to December), but we are closed on Sundays. Saturday opening hours are 10.00am - 4.00pm.
Our Annual Nursery Sale begins on Saturday 30th March at 10.00am and will run throughout April, and we will also be open on the Sunday of that first weekend (Sunday 31st March. 10.00am - 4.00pm).
The nursery is also open 10.00am - 4.00pm on Good Friday and Easter Monday, but we are closed for the other bank holidays (Monday 6th May 2019, Monday 27th May 2019 and Monday 26th August 2019).
This year we will be closing for the Christmas and New Year holiday at 1pm on Friday 20th December 2019, re-opening on Thursday 2nd January 2020.
We usually expect to have camellias in flower from late September until early May, but the best times to visit are late October to early December for the autumn-flowering sasanquas, and late February to April for the spring-flowering camellias. If you come during the summer months there won't be much on display as it is the time of year when plants are being potted and moved around, but we will always try to find you the variety you want from our extensive stocks. If you have an unknown camellia you'd like to identify then please feel free to bring in a flower (and leaf) and we'll do our best to put a name to it.
We have blueberry plants available throughout the year, but usually have the most stock available from late autumn through to early spring.
The Blueberry PYO is now operated completely independently of the nursery by Josh and Dan Benson. It normally opens from mid-July until the end of August, 10.00am - 4.00pm, 7 days a week, but these opening times may vary according to weather and fruit availability. For information about opening times and fruit availability, please contact Josh on 07788 267031.
We are situated between Wimborne and Ferndown in Dorset, easily accessible from the main A31 (follow the brown tourist board signs for Knoll Gardens - we are just down the road). Our postal address is Trehane Nursery, Stapehill Road, Wimborne, Dorset BH21 7ND.
