Camellia williamsii hybrid Waterlily
Camellia williamsii hybrid Waterlily

A hybrid between C.saluenensis and C.japonica 'K.Sawada', raised by Felix Jury in New Zealand and introduced in 1967. Popular in cooler climates, and widely planted across New Zealand.
A vigorous, upright growing plant producing pink, formal double flowers in March and April. May need staking as a young plant, as the long, new growth can have a tendency to flop over unless supported or pruned back. Suitable for training against a wall or fence, or can be grown into a large hedge. A variety that is best with plenty of room to be allowed to express its full exuberance.
