Home > Camellias > Spring flowering reticulata hybrids
The hybrids of Camellia reticulata boast the largest flowers of all camellias. They also have large leaves and grow very vigorously so that young plants are very open, though they do become bushy with age. In general, this species should not be grown in cold northern UK climates, except where winter protection or a glasshouse can be provided. In southern England and London, however, expect bountiful blooms of large to very large size.
