What happens if I am not happy with my order?

We pride ourselves on the fact that we virtually never receive a return request and we intend it to stay that way, as we take great pride in sending out top quality plants, expertly packed and delivered. However, if you feel that we have not lived up to our reputation, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can find the best way to resolve the situation.

Order cancellation

You have the right to change your mind and cancel your order at any time up to the point of dispatch and receive a full refund of your payment - just let us know as soon as possible. You may also cancel your order for any reason within 7 days of receiving the goods, by notifying us by email or in writing. Return the goods to us in their original condition, and preferably in the original packaging, within 28 days of cancellation in order to obtain a full refund.
However, please note that we will not pay the costs of returning items to us and that this cost may be significantly higher than the amount that you originally paid for delivery. Until we receive the goods you are returning, they are your responsibility. For your protection and peace of mind, we recommend you use a recorded delivery service. If on return the plants have been damaged or their condition has deteriorated, we reserve the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value if they need to be reduced in price for resale.

Complaints

Every effort is made to ensure that the plants we supply are true to type and free of pests and disease, but we cannot guarantee that this is the case. In the event of a complaint that the plants supplied are incorrect, or are of poor quality, you must notify us by email or telephone within 48 hours of their receipt so that we can investigate and take the necessary action. If the plants we have supplied do not meet the high standards that we expect, then we will refund or replace them as appropriate.

In the case of plants that have been damaged in transit please retain all wrappings for any subsequent investigation. It is useful if you can email us pictures of the plants (and packaging.) We will replace plants so damaged at no cost to you.

While we take every care to produce and dispatch top quality plants, we cannot guarantee that they will grow and thrive once they are in your care. However, we will provide a free replacement for any plant which does not survive its first, full growing season (March to September). Please let us know as soon as possible if a plant is not thriving. After the plants have had a whole growing season in your care we would expect them to be fit and healthy and able to survive their natural lifetime, and we cannot then be held responsible for their survival. However, we will always judge each individual case on its merits, so please do contact us if you have a problem with a plant in subsequent years.
